Tuesday - Bangkok: Departs 15:00. The Eastern & Oriental Express departs Bangkok in the afternoon. Tea is served while the train journeys northwards through the Thai countryside. Exquisite dining and overnight on board follows as the train continues its journey.

Wednesday – Chiang Mai: Arrives 08:30. Awake to your steward serving an early breakfast in the comfort of your private compartment before arrival into Chiang Mai, Thailand's second largest city.
