Boat Lagoon

Boat Lagoon in Phuket on the island's east coast is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the island normally associated with resorts but quite close to Phuket's most pristine beaches.

A place of tranquillity, yet a marine gateway to the mystic beauty of Phang-Nga Bay, one of Thailand's most sought after marine national parks, this is the place to experience world-class swimming and diving conditions, fishing, sailing and exploring. Boat Lagoon, Phuket has it all!

Accommodation
Boat Lagoon resort accommodation comprises luxury suites, overlooking Phuket's premier recreational marina, along with the adjacent Marina Residence Luxury units with individual boat berths, acclaimed restaurants and excellent leisure facilities and outstanding island hospitality.

Most people can find their favourite leisure activity among the sports and outings on offer. For those looking for greater seclusion there is a free, 15-minute shuttle-boat to the tropical island paradise of Rang Yai.

Golfers' needs are catered for at any of five world-class courses including Banyan Tree Club, Blue Canyon Country Club, Loch Palm Golf Club, Phuket Country Club and Thai Muang Golf Club — all within easy reach of the Boat Lagoon Resort.

The Boat Lagoon Marina Residences' accommodation, built in Sino-Portuguese architectural style with classic tiled roofs, in keeping with Phuket historical beginnings, provide a setting of peace and tranquillity. Daily cleaning services and 24-hour room service keep you relaxed and free to take in the views across the bay.

Amenities
For a change of scenery there is an adjacent park with walkways through trees and well-stocked gardens. A great place for a relaxing walk before wandering over to the Phuket boat Club for refreshments. Or to browse through the library, workout in the fitness centre or relax with a drink and take in the marine vistas of Phang-Nga Bay.

Rounding off a successful day means dropping anchor in "The Port of Call", one of the island's favourite restaurants. Thai cuisine at its best; served to the background of live music and even livelier drinks — within touching distance of some of the most luxurious yachts in the world!

Among the range of additional facilities conveniently located in the resort grounds is a less formal restaurant for al fresco, all-day dining on the quayside — breakfast to suppertime.

While away the time browsing the large selection of indoor shopping facilities, including supermarket, continental café/baker, music lounge and games room.

Marine Excursions
Just a short boat trip from the Boat Lagoon resort, are the islands of Rang Yai and Kai Nok, nestling in protected waters between the provinces of Phuket and Krabi. An ideal place for year round swimming and snorkelling in calm waters.

Co-existing in harmony with nature, Rang Yai provides a unique setting for those who seek freedom of movement and privacy. An eco-tourism destination, with the accent on activities in keeping with the environment, the island folk still follow the old ways, tending rubber plantations, coconut groves and farming oysters for pearls.

On the island, visitors can go biking or canoeing, play mini-golf, visit the pearl farm, go snorkelling, play volleyball, try windsurfing and other sports in keeping with nature. Alternatively, the white coral beach fringed by palms is ideal for taking in the sun or taking a stroll around the island, which takes around one hour.

The well-stocked restaurant at the boat pickup point serves excellent Thai food, deliciously fresh seafood and Western dishes. Soft drinks, beers, wines and cocktails are available throughout the day — all served with a smile.

If you get the urge to explore your surroundings, visit the nearby island of Koh Kai Nok and the superb coral reef with its abundance of marine life. Further afield, amidst the limestone formations that rise skywards from the bay, is the beautiful island of Phi Phi and the delights of Phang-Nga Bay and Krabi — all accessible by charter boat from Boat Lagoon Resort.
