Angthong Villa

The villa architecture is traditional southern Thai style, with a colonial influence based on the owners vision of creating Koh Samui's most exclusive dream house.

In particular, Angthong Villa has been uniquely designed to take full advantage of the magnificent views, to capture the cooling sea breezes, and maximize the enjoyment of outdoor living.

The well proportioned main house straddles a large ornate pond, with a cascading waterfall feature, tropical fish, and lotus plants.

Main entrance stairs lead guests over the pond to a vast hardwood deck, from where private entrances to the four en-suite bedrooms, and the main living room can be accessed.

The air-conditioned living room is huge, with a double vaulted, wood panelled ceiling, and wooden mezzanine gallery. Furnished to a high standard, with a state of the art entertainment system, bar, and dining table with seating for 10, the height and space of the room ensures a cool environment, even on the hottest days.

Sea views can be enjoyed through sliding glass doors, plus there is an additional bathroom, and expansive hardwood decking extending on either side, make this feature room perfect for entertaining.

The four bedrooms, are fully air conditioned, with additional ceiling fans, and open onto the rear hardwood deck; sea views can be enjoyed through sliding glass doors. The bedrooms feature quality hardwood floors, and fitted furniture, with large wardrobes, and king sized beds.

The en-suite bathrooms are tastefully tiled in natural slate, with sunken baths and showers. Two of the bathrooms also feature open air showers with sea views.

From the vast rear deck, running the entire width of the villa, a wide wooden staircase leads down to the beachfront garden, with five feature Salas, a large freeform swimming pool with Jacuzzi, and a lotus pond.

The Salas, which are all fitted with ceiling fans, are perfect for enjoying the tropical climate, sea breeze and views in traditional Thai style. Sala facilities comprise of dining area, kitchen (includes outdoor Bathroom), beachfront living, spa and snooker.

The property is walled for total privacy and the garden is landscaped with a selection of tropical palms.

Staff quarters and carport are conveniently located in a separate building opposite the main entrance.

Entertainment facilities include a 54" home theatre system, a large library of DVD movies, TVs in all four bedrooms, a snooker table, and meditation Sala. A welcome baskets of tropical fruits is Provided and a complimentary bar with a selection of soft and alcoholic drinks, plus tea and coffee. Breakfast is included FOC.

Service Staff
Angthong Villa has 5 full-time staff, including a barman, and 24 hour security guard plus a multilingual guest relations manager who is on call 24/7. Maid cleaning service is provided twice daily, at guests convenience.

Location
Located on the northeastern tip of Koh Samui, approximately 10 minutes drive from the airport, and 15 minutes drive from Chaweng's beach, restaurants, shops, and nightlife. The popular Big Buddha beach, is just 5 minutes walk away. For golfers Santiburi championship 18 hole course is around 20 minutes drive away. Direct flights to Koh Samui are provided by Bangkok Airways.
